Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 2026-09-16
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Community Commerce, operated at comcom.live ("comcom.live", "the Platform", "we", "us"). By creating an account, or by browsing, buying, or selling on the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use comcom.live.
1. What comcom.live Is
comcom.live is a community-commerce marketplace. Anyone can create a Community (for example, an apartment complex, a workplace, or an interest group), and independent sellers open Shops inside one or more Communities to sell to members. Prices can differ by Community, and an individual buyer may be offered a personally negotiated price — you will only ever be shown the price that applies to you.
comcom.live is a facilitator connecting independent buyers and sellers. Products are listed, priced, and fulfilled by the individual Shops and sellers, not by comcom.live directly, unless a listing says otherwise. comcom.live is not a party to the contract of sale between a buyer and a seller, though we set marketplace-wide rules, collect a platform fee, and step in to resolve disputes as described below.
2. Eligibility and Your Account
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. One account per person — accounts are not transferable.
3. Communications: How We'll Reach You
By signing up, you agree that comcom.live may contact you using the mobile number and email address you provide, for purposes including:
- Verifying your identity (for example, one-time passwords/OTP);
- Order confirmations, shipping and delivery updates, and cancellation, return, or refund notices;
- Account, security, and policy notices (including changes to these Terms); and
- Promotional or marketing messages, but only if you have separately opted in to these — you can opt out at any time from your Account Settings without affecting the messages above.
These messages may be sent by SMS, WhatsApp, email, or push notification, through our messaging partners. Transactional messages (the first three categories above) are a condition of using the Platform and cannot be turned off while you have an active account, since they cover things like order status and account security.
4. Sharing Your Information With Our Payment Partner
To process payments, verify transactions, and prevent fraud, we work with a licensed third-party payment partner. As part of enabling payments on your orders, we share necessary details with that payment partner — including your mobile number, and order/billing information relevant to the transaction. Our payment partner processes this information under its own terms of service and privacy policy, and is responsible for the security of any payment instrument (card, UPI, net banking, etc.) you use with them — comcom.live does not store your full payment card or bank account credentials.
5. Orders, Pricing, and Payment
Prices shown to you reflect the Community you are browsing in and any personal pricing that applies to your account, plus any applicable platform fee, delivery charge, and taxes shown at checkout before you place an order. Placing an order is an offer to buy at the price shown; a Shop may cancel an order it cannot fulfil (for example, if stock runs out), in which case any amount charged will be reversed. Available payment methods (for example, cash on delivery, or online payment once enabled) are shown at checkout.
6. Cancellations, Returns, and Refunds
Orders can generally be cancelled before they are dispatched. Delivered orders may be eligible for return within the return window shown on the order, subject to the condition of the item and the Shop's own review of the return request. Refunds, where due, are processed back through the original payment method or as store credit, as applicable, once a return is approved.
7. Seller Obligations
If you open a Shop on comcom.live, you agree to: list only items you are legally entitled to sell; describe products accurately; honour the prices and stock you list; fulfil accepted orders promptly; and comply with all applicable laws, including consumer protection, tax, and product-safety laws. Prohibited, illegal, or dangerous items may not be listed, and comcom.live may remove any listing or Shop that violates this, with or without notice.
8. Buyer Conduct
You agree not to misuse the Platform — including placing fraudulent orders, abusing the return/refund process, posting fake or misleading reviews, or harassing sellers or other users. We may suspend or close accounts that do this.
9. Reviews and User Content
Anything you post on the Platform (reviews, questions, photos) must be your own, truthful, and lawful. By posting it, you give comcom.live a licence to display it on the Platform in connection with the relevant product or Shop. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
10. Third-Party Services
Parts of the Platform rely on third-party services — for example, Google Sign-In for authentication, courier partners for delivery tracking, and messaging/payment partners referenced above. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms.
11. Your Data and Privacy
We collect and use your information to operate the Platform as described in these Terms. You can download a copy of your data, or request access, correction, or deletion of it, from your Account Settings page at any time. We do not sell your personal information to third parties; the sharing described in Sections 3 and 4 is limited to what's needed to deliver and pay for your orders.
12. Limitation of Liability
comcom.live provides the Platform on an "as is" basis and is not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of items listed by sellers, for delivery delays caused by courier partners or events outside our reasonable control, or for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Platform. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
13. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or close your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or misuse the Platform. You may close your own account at any time from Account Settings, subject to any orders in progress being resolved first.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use comcom.live after an update means you accept the revised Terms; for material changes, we may ask you to re-confirm your acceptance.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [City, State — to be confirmed], India.
16. Contact Us
Questions about these Terms can be raised through the Support option on your Seller Dashboard, or by writing to us at the contact details published on the Platform.
